Daily movement should be pain-free and done with ease. Stretch, body-weight activity, and balance combined with functional movement correction is unlike any fitness or therapy program. Stretch, Movement & Mindfulness therapy at Sage is the perfect complement for all fitness levels, whether you currently exercise, are less agile, sedentary or working to correct acute or chronic movement dysfunctions.

Intentional movement should be done every day. Moving your body specifically and repeatedly sends signals to the brain to soften and lubricate joints. This helps to ward off unnecessary wear and tear of joints, prepare tissues for daily demands, and correct compensatory movements, along with improvements in posture, range of motion, bone density and balance.

Becoming mindful and paying attention to the messages your body is sending is key to self-care. Sage movement practitioners offer individual care, group classes and home-care instruction. Creating a lifestyle of daily stretch, movement and mindfulness keeps the body healthy and aligned.

Gentle Yoga with Props with Chris | Tuesdays | 11-12P

Come join us for Gentle Yoga with Props. This is a Level One class.  In this kind and gentle class a variety of props will be used - chairs, blocks, bolsters, the wall and straps.  The intention is to move slowly and gently through a variety of asanas supported by props. This is a level one class and great for beginners or students wanting to restart their yoga practice. The class will also focus on breath work, seated, supine,  and standing asanas (poses)  all done with the assist of a variety of props. BOOK ONLINE

Aerial Yoga with Holly | Tuesdays | 5:45-6:45P

Aerial Yoga offers you the opportunity to explore a yoga practice while supported by the hammock. The hammock aids the body in feeling supported so there is less strain on your joints, more support to help you balance, and the unique experience of being able to decompress the spine through inversions without needing to have the strength necessary to do a handstand.  This class begins with a gentle warm-up for joint mobility from there the class shifts to activating your core muscles before proceeding through aerial yoga sequences that help you to lengthen, tone and condition your body to have improved flexibility, better balance and an overall heightened awareness of your body and how to recruit muscles when they are needed. Class always ends with a cocooned meditation where you are able to simply rest and enjoy a prolonged hug from the fabric while listening to soothing music and soaking in the uplifted energy you created during your class experience. Cocooned Relaxation + Sound Healing with Holly

Unwind from your day while relaxing in the aerial yoga hammock hovering just several inches from the ground.  While feeling held in a comforting embrace from the hammock, an eye pillow will be placed on your eyes and you will receive an aromatherapy pad on your heart to help you drop into a place of floating blissfully.  A guided meditation and gentle healing touch on your lower legs and feet will help you drop into a place where your worries and stress just melt away.  Then you will be enveloped in the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, ocean drum and chimes as your body relaxes, your mind becomes clear, and your heart feels nurtured.  You will leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to head home for a deep sleep in order to greet the next day refreshed and full of fresh energy! Build & Blast Bootcamp With Holly

Ladies, it is time to tone, contour and shape our bodies into the best version of ourselves! This 75-minute 4 week program has been created to work our bodies from head to toe while also using the benefits of fascia blasting to reduce cellulite, improve circulation, reduce muscle soreness and firm skin.  Throughout the class experience, fascia blasting different areas of the body will be infused alongside working areas of the body through exercises with hand weights to bring about weight loss, toning and strength.  We will be targeting our glutes, thighs, calves, arms and abdominals.  Class will conclude with a kryopack cold therapy session to help fulfill your body’s rejuvenation needs after working your muscles and fascia.  

Let’s support one another as we activate our self-love and care!  It will be a transformative 4 week experience!  Hand weights will be provided for this class as well as mats, and kryopacks for wiping oil off.  Please wear shorts and tank tops that you don’t mind potentially getting some oil on while you fascia blast and please bring your own towel for wiping the oil off of areas we blast.  You will be required to have your own Fascia Blaster and oil for this class.
