Yoga for kids

Yoga for Kids ages 6-11 promotes mindfulness through the playful use of yoga poses, breath awareness, and relaxation practices. Mat and Aerial Silk Classes available. Instructors create a non-competitive environment where each child feels accepted and valued. Kids can take what they learn in class out into the world to reduce their stress, accept who they are, respect who others are, and enjoy a lifelong love of yoga.

Why is yoga great for kids?

Yoga is a great way for kids to get connected with their bodies. Yoga stretches kids’ bodies and minds, and boosts their confidence. It can help bring active minds into union with active bodies, and can help kids learn to calm both. Kids feel empowered by their ability to learn new poses, stretch into new positions, and stabilize their minds in a non-competitive environment.

At Sage Healing Collective, kids can have fun, stretch their imaginations, play, and relax. Yoga can be a respite for kids where they can develop physically, mentally, and enhance well-being.


Mommy and Me Aerial Yoga with Holly

An aerial yoga class to be explored alongside a special little one in your life (ages 5 – 11).  This class will include partner stretching on the mat and in the air with the aerial yoga hammock!  Each pair will share a hammock to dive into relaxation and imagination making mindful lasting memories together.  A great class for mothers, aunts, nieces, daughters, grandparents and grandchildren!
